Citrus County held a first workshop with the Planning & Development Commission on September 15, 2022.

Planning & Development Commission Workshop #2

A meeting with the Planning & Development Commission was held on November 20, 2025, to discuss the Cardinal Street IMA and corresponding Land Development Code updates.

The Cardinal Street IMA, and proposed Land Development Code updates implementing the CMU District, will be heard during the next Board of County Commissioners meeting on January 27, 2026.
